ACLU fundraising near the Burnside Starbucks. With an extra few bucks in my pocket, I inquired just to see if it was something I could get behind, since I'm having trouble getting rid of my money thru other means (I don't have enough sexual energy to spend it all on hookers, strippers, and masseuses).

Unfortunately, the focus of their sidewalk canvas is rights for workers who are being discriminated against, and I can't get behind that. My solution for people who are mistreated at work is to quit. Nobody should be in a position in which he *has* to work. All basic necessities should be free.

However, looking at their website, they do have a lot of issues I can get behind, so I have to seriously consider whether I should donate.

I hate the thought of their money going to a cause I oppose, but that's what happens with my tax money, so...?
