I KNEW IT--CHILDREN = BAD!!!

FINALLY!!! I've been writing this in my blog for years, and I've mentioned it a few times, just to people who I thought might understand. I had no research to back it up, but it was obvious to me that the environmental impact of having a child had to be great, probably greater than any savings to be had from green living.

Forget raising global awareness of climate change--this is the message that needs to be spread as widely as possible, that having children does real harm to the environment.

A whole lot of us already have children. Do you expect anything positive to come from making alienating remarks about that life choice? What would be the point of preserving the environment if we didn't have a next generation to preserve it for, anyway?

Intelligent, thoughtful people will realize that my remarks have nothing to do with judging what happenened in the past, but rather are intended to influence what happens in the future. To influence those without children not to have children, and those who already have children to not have any more.

Regarding your second comment, that's just absurd. Very few people are suggesting that no more children be had by anybody anywhere.

Dude, it is really difficult to think about all the social issues the world faces, and harder still to try and write something meaningful about them.

That takes a lot of my mental energy.

These issues are important to me, and while I would like to take the time to respond to your viewpoints, it is just too difficult to understand what you have to say given how you choose to write.

You have explained to me in person that you can write in ordinary English, but that you choose not to, and you have explained your reasons why. Fine. You are entitled to do so. But the consequence of this is that much of what you write is not read simply because people have busy lives, and they don't want to spend extra time trying to decipher something that they know could have been written in plain English if you chose to do so.

one of the REASONS WHY i don't bother to write shit in 'english' is because a DUMB mothERfuckER aint gonna understand no matter HOW it is written.

HOW i write is not hard to decipher for a LITERATE person. in my previous posts, i made a couple of typos that someone with half a fuckinG brain could easily spot and STILL glean meaninG.

i cannot recall if Stefan included in WORD FREAK my commentary on what happens when Intellect recognizes Stupidity and flees from it. That said, don't be surprised or offended if i EVER speak to you again.

Whatever your experiences with most people, I guarantee you that if someone responds to an argument of mind in ordinary English, as you just did, I will expend the energy to try and understand it. I'll read the response, and I'll reread it, and I'll read it a third time to try and make sense of it and understand the other person's point of view.

ONE problem with your PERSPECTIVE is that you PERSONALIZE PERSPECTIVE. i might add that another REASON i generally don't write (or SPEAK) in what is malappropriately called 'standard english' is that the language is terribly flawed. YOUR perspective does not mean YOU OWN it. It is merely the point from which you view whatever. While you are an individual, MANY people hold a similar perspective.

The point from which i view things is decidedly different from MOST people BECAUSE i simply do not think in the same terms as most people. Without regard to intellectual capacity, i flatout reject BULLSHIT--defined HERE as a POISONOUS mixture of DECEIT, RITUALISM, and PSEUDOINTELLECTUALISM--which is the HIGHEST or LOWEST form of STUPIDITY whereas far too many people not only ACCEPT it, but also REVEL in it.

In ORDER to BEGIN to UNDERSTAND a viewpoint different than that which you hold, you NEED to UNDERSTAND WHERE you STAND. The PRECEPT for ALL KNOWLEDGE in the UNIVERSE is KNOW THYSELF. WHAT is a PER SUN? WHAT is a UNIVERSE???BITS of TRUTH is even reflected in the language of LIES.

WE live on a PLANE(t) wherein PHYSICALITY is the LOWEST existential form. Above, i used the word RITUALISM. It is a TRUNCATION, in WORD and DEED, of SPIRITUALISM--which is the HIGHEST existential form in the UNIVERSE. Physical forms REFLECT Spiritual forms. SPIRITUALITY should dictate MENTALITY to PHYSICALITY, ANY other way is IMBALANCED (UP RIGHT as PROPER BALANCE to HUMANS???? izz u gettin ANY of dhis???????????????).

To wrap this up, CERTAIN schools of thought are born and flourish where they do for a REASON (NO THING happens without REASON. SOME things are BEYOND HUMAN ken--and SOME of those are understood ONLY thru connection with the ULTIMATE BEING in the UNIVERSE). The MENTALITY of beings who have difficulty tapping into the SPIRITUAL part of their being DICTATES to their PHYSICAL form (BACKWARDS livin muthafuckas do some amazinly stupid shit). NATURE CANNOT tolerate the existence of those people in GREAT numbers. There are OTHER people on this plane(t) with the capacity to readily tap into their SPIRITUAL form. Many of those people are currently following in the footsteps of dem backward muthafuckas. Many of those people--for WHATEVER REASON--are SUBJECTED to degradation in PHYSICAL form, SOME by DESIGN of da backwards muthafuckas. However, the NATURAL ORDER will SOON be RESTORED. i CANNOT say for CERTAIN, but i BELIEVE that is WHY SOME people continue to procreate while others have difficulty doing so.

The shit you OBSERVE got a DEEPER meaning than the shit you SEE...

I won't claim that I understand everything you wrote, but I think that I can see myself agreeing with some of it.

However, in the present, when I see evidence of a problem, and I see a potential solution, I do not have time to wait to go through the process of analyzing myself and my viewpoints and to ask questions like "what is a person"? "What is a universe"?

When I get home from work with a bunch of tasks I'd like to accomplish before going to bed, and I encounter an article such as the one linked in this post, and I conceive of an idea that I want to share, I need to *get to the point* and keep my message as *concise* as possible. From a practical perspective, I want people to read what I write, and if I get too esoteric, they are not going to.

I am sure that you have some ideas that I would share, but my original post was meant to address one single issue--a report that calculates the additional impact on the environment of having children.

Yes, it is true that all problems are linked, but I cannot write a comprehensive analysis of all social problems and their solutions every time I post to LiveJournal.
