M-Day Is Here
M-Day, or that is to say, the date of our first Beacon installation, in Mauston, WI, is finally here.

Left the office shortly before 2:00 with a grumbling stomach and an eye towards Buraka in Madison. Had to stop first in Beloit to pick up some of the heavenly nectar that is Tradewinds tea... BUT THEY WERE OUT!!! No shipment that week, and furthermore the troubling news that Tradewinds was switching from 16 oz glass to 20 oz plastic bottles. NOOOOOO!!!

Hit Mauston around 5:30 after a stop for coffee and also to pick up a new long-sleeved shirt and a spare pair of 501s, cuz Rich thought it might be a good idea to have more than one pair.

The others were already there, installing hardware and software, and Don was his usual tornadic self, bouncing from place to place doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

Pizza arrive around 7:00, but I was disappointed yet again. Despite specific instructions, George ordered every pizza with either vegetables or mushrooms. AARRGHH!!! I had no choice but to order overpriced spaghetti from the town's Italian restaurant, C.J.s. Bah.
