Maybe you shouldn't play in tournaments where your division will have opponents you don't want to play with.

Easy to say if you are on the East Coast where you can play at least three events a month without driving too far. Out here in the Midwest there aren't as many options, and to make matters worse directors keep scheduling events on the same weeekend.

You knew who was going to be in your division. If you didn't like it, you didn't have to play at all.

Winter, you are going to drop below 1600 if you keep up the sour attitude! Love your fellow Scrabble players and good things will happen.

You should really check out the field for the Cleveland tourney next week. 4 sub-1500 players, and more are tentative. It might not be too late to pull out, if you hurry.

Maybe you should stick to tourneys with 1600 cutoffs. Oh, that's right, the Lexington tourney had a 1600 cutoff, and you spent the whole tourney whining about being paired with a 1619 player who was in second place.

Maybe you could stick to 1700+ tourneys. Oh, that's right, you're 1682 and falling.

Oh well, there are always invitationals. Oh... never mind.

Isn't criticism supposed to be constructive?

Oh, I get it now. I see your scheme. You want me to drop out so you'll have a better chance of winning. Sneaky, sneaky.
